PARIS _ L’Oréal Paris and Balmain Paris today unveil the campaign and the pack designs for their much-anticipated lipstick collaboration: a capsule collection of 12 couture matte shades by Color Riche. The wait is over to discover the first images of the collaboration between one of fashion’s edgiest houses and the beauty brand opening the doors of fashion’s beauty to the world. Storming Paris rooftops at dawn, 12 women, of different origins and backgrounds, strike forward alongside Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s creative director, to send a message of beauty in diversity and female empowerment.
Shot together by the celebrated photographer Nico Bustos, the cast of 12 models stand for three tribes of L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris femininity. Bringing a new vision of Parisian beauty to the world, these three distinct stories Rock, Couture and Glamazone are each told in four shades for an overall collection of 12 Color Riche lipsticks, designed for every complexion. Marking the first step of Balmain Paris into makeup, the campaign also gives a first look at the collection’s ultra-desirable couture packs, a marriage of edginess and opulence, designed by Rousteing. With Balmain’s signature gold and embellishment, each collector pack distinguishes the L’Oréal Paris x Balmain Paris tribe in an associated color: blue for Rock, black for Couture and green for Glamazone.
Each tribe has its own stand-out star shade, eg. Glamazone Ysaunny Brito in Balmain Instinct and Rock woman Soo Joo Park voicing Freedom.
