Arriving at the crowded Burberry Prorsum show I finally got a seat on the 5th row, with a bird eye view over the runway anxiously waiting for the show to start. Thank God I have big ass glasses that helped my view to perfection. The Live streamers had a front row view, but being at the show makes the collection and show 100 times cooler. On the melody and beat of perpetuum mobile by the penguin cafe orchestra and unchained melody by U2 Burberry opened their Spring/Summer 2012 showdown. Christopher Bailey brought a collection less unlikely we were expecting of Burberry. Being a bit of a daredevil and getting the mind off the usual commercial attires, he showed a more non-predictable, playful patterned, ethnical colored, IKAT printed collection. Maintaining the British identity Christopher Bailey held on to the the small pant with straight, narrow legs, the tailored jackets, the vintage inspired cardigans, knitted vests and of course a large variety of well tailored coats. Last but not least the truly eye catchers were the golf inspired cork-soal shoes and the raffia hats.
